That's a gruesome way to put it, but it's true. I like to write, and I love to read; that's what keeps this blog running. For the most part, I post book reviews on this blog; along with book-related opinions, bookish anecdotes, memes and challenges.
Speaking of books - you'll regularly find me quoting Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Joss Whedon (though he isn't exactly an author), J. K. Rowling (my very confusing - to those of you who are not Harry Potter fans - blog address, is actually a spell Gilderoy Lockhart uses to ward off the pesky pixies.) My favourite genres are contemporary horror, all types of fantasy, thriller, suspense, historical fiction, classics, gothic fiction and more recently, beat, and science fiction.
Writing about oneself is, as I am discovering, easier said than done. I don't often talk about myself. You could call me anti-social or shy, although I do prefer the word 'demure'. I would describe myself as a slightly judgmental, strangely paranoid, television-obsessed, cat-loving, 19 year old bibliophile, who actively engages in doodling and daydreaming.
